March is Irish American Heritage Month and we're celebrating with a Thursday morning film festival dedicated to the great Irish filmmaker, Jim Sheridan. Today we'll watch The Boxer starring Daniel Day Lewis as a man trying to rebuild his life in his old Belfast neighborhood after serving 14 years in prison. 1997. Rated R. 1h 53m.

In-person and phone registration starts February 5th for Norridge and Harwood Heights residents with valid library cards. Online registration for everyone starts February 12th.
