Award-winning author Lori Rader-Day’s newest novel, Under a Dark Sky is a psychological thriller set in a dark sky stargazing park near Mackinac Island where recent widow Eden Wallace is attempting to conquer her debilitating fear of the dark. But when another park guest is murdered, the dark may be her only protection.

Her debut mystery, The Black Hour, won the 2015 Anthony Award for Best First Novel and was a finalist for the 2015 Mary Higgins Clark Award. Little Pretty Things, won the 2016 Mary Higgins Clark Award and was a nominee for the Anthony Award for Best Paperback Original. Her third book, The Day I Died, was nominated for the Mary Higgins Clark Award and the Barry Award.

Lori served as president of the Midwest Chapter of the Mystery Writers of America and as a board member of Sisters in Crime Chicagoland. She is also a member of the International Thriller Writers.
